The history of the Maison begins with Adele and Edoardo Fendi and their first handbag boutique, which opened in Rome in 1925, shortly followed by a fur atelier. Elegance, craftsmanship, innovation, and style have become symbols of the Maison, shaped by the artistic direction of Karl Lagerfeld from 1965 to 2019.

Today, the Maison is synonymous with quality, tradition, experimentation, and creativity, brought to life by the vision of Silvia Venturini Fendi for the Men's collections and Kim Jones for the Women's, which is also reflected in the eyewear collection.
